Abstract
Face detection is the basis of the recognition process used in various applications such as security, biometrics, and law enforcement. Multi-face detection becomes relevant for detecting face more than one at a time. The challenge in developing a multi-face detection system involves the complexity of managing several special conditions, one of which is the condition of different face orientations that have an impact on the accuracy and the detection time. This research uses the Slicing Aided Hyper Inference (SAHI) to develop a face detection system that is tested using test images taken from student face images. Based on the research result, SAHI configuration has an influence on the accuracy and total detection time. The detection system can detect multi-face images with an average detection time of 13,5 seconds and with the accuracy by each test, 0,92, 0,79, 0,84, 0,81, 0,84, 0,81, 0,84, dan 0,82.
