Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of workload and work environment on organizational commitment in non-permanent employees of BNI Palembang branch office. The population used in this study were all non-permanent employees at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk Palembang Branch Office in 2024 totaling 108 employees. The number of respondents in this study were all non-permanent employees at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk Branch Office. With data analysis through data validity test, reliability test, then data transformation method, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, then multiple linear regression analysis was carried out with correlation coefficient (r) and determination coefficient (R2) and finally F test and T test were carried out. The results showed that workload had a negative and significant effect on organizational commitment and the work environment had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Workload, expected to provide time with appropriate working hours for employees and workload that can be divided evenly for each existing jobdesk according to the capacity and incentives provided. Work environment, expected to be more sensitive to the relationships between employees.
