Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of return on assets, earnings per share, debt to equity ratio, price earnings ratio, and systematic risk to stock prices. The population in this study is the coal mining sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013-2017. Sampling used is a purposive sampling method and it was obtained of 15 companies. This study uses data in the form of company financial statements obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis used is a quantitative approach with a panel data regression model, with an estimate of the Random Effect model that has been fulfilled through the chow test and the hausmant test. The results of this study show that return on assets have a significant effect on stock prices, earning per share does not have a significant effect on stock prices, debt to equity ratio does not significantly influence stock prices, price earning ratio has a significant effect on stock prices, and systematic risk has a significant effect on stock price.
