Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui formulasi pembuatan sabun padat menggunakan Virgin Coconut Oil, ekstrak daun sirsak, dan minyak atsiri kulit jeruk manis (citrus sinensis L.) yang memenuhi standar nasional indonesia. Virgin coconut oil yang dibuat dengan metode enzimatis menghasilkan rendemen sebesar 27,6%. Maserasi daun sirsak menggunakan pelarut etanol 96% menghasilkan rendemen sebesar 5,05%. Kemudian rendemen minyak atsiri kulit jeruk manis yang dihasilkan sebesar 1,82%. Pada pembuatan sabun padat dengan Variasi konsentrasi Virgin coconut oil yaitu 35% (F1), 37,5% (F2), dan 40% (F3), ekstrak daun sirsak 6% dan minyak atsiri kulit jeruk manis 5%. Pengamatan dilakukan sesuai parameter uji yaitu uji kadar air, uji pH, uji alkali bebas, uji homogenitas, uji tinggi busa dan uji hedonik. Ketiga formulasi memiliki warna coklat tua, bentuk padat, wangi minyak atsiri kulit jeruk dan homogen. Kadar air formulasi 1 ; 13,95%, formulasi 2 ; 10,25%, dan formulasi 3 ; 10,03%. Nilai pH sediaan sabun padat didapatkan rentang pH formulasi 1 ; 8,94, pH formulasi 2 ; 8,87, dan pH formulasi 3 ; 8,82. Kadar alkali bebas pada formulasi 1 ; 0,0084%, formulasi 2 ; 0,0092, serta formulasi 3 ; 0,0076%. Tinggi busa yang dimiliki formulasi 1 ; 4,7cm, formulasi 2 ; 6,1cm, serta formulasi 3 ; 5,2cm. Ketiga formula memenuhi syarat kualitas Standar Nasional Indonesia. Pada uji hedonik dapat disimpulkan panelis lebih menyukai formulasi 2.
