Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of coloring activities on fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years at Kartika II.1 Kindergarten Palembang. The research method used in this study is a quantitative experimental method with a one-shot case study design, the technique used is saturated sampling. This study was conducted on grade A children at Kartika II.1 Kindergarten Palembang with a sample size of 16 children. There is no better time than childhood to help children reach their full potential. Among the many abilities that develop rapidly in young children, their fine motor skills stand out. The development of small muscles that allow for dexterous hand and foot movements is known as fine motor skills. In order for children to successfully perform daily tasks, their fine motor skills must be developed. The main purpose of this study was to catalog the stages of fine motor skill acquisition in children aged between four and five years. Articles related to the topic of fine motor skills in children aged four to five years were reviewed as part of the literature review. Using the search terms "Skills", "fine motor skills", and "early childhood", the papers were placed in the Google Scholar database. Keywords: Skills, Fine motor skills, Children aged 4-5 years
