Abstract

Information assets had particular values to the company, so they must be protected against threats and information security vulnerabilities. To prevent threats and information security vulnerabilities, an information security risk assessment of information assets that aims to identify and assess risks related to information assets security, and provide recommendations for information security improvements to be applied. PT. Clipan Finance Branch Palembang had information assets that are managed and protected against external threats. Risk assessment by FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) method to know risk value based on vulnerability level of information assets at PT. Clipan Finance Branch Palembang, and with the approach of ISO 27001:2005 to adjust the proposed control of risk control that is found based on aspects of security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability. That way PT. Clipan Finance Branch Palembang is able to know the value of any risks and risks in order to prevent or anticipate future risks.
