Abstract

This research is entitled “Implementation of Public Information Disclosure Policy Through Sriwijaya University Rector Regulation Number 01 of 2023 on Information and Documentation Management Officials (PPID) in Sriwijaya University”. Qualitative method is a research method used in social sciences with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using (Sugiyono, 2014: 224) as follows:interview, observation, and documentation study. The results of this study show that communication in the communication process related to the implementation of PPID in Sriwijaya University is only done once, and there is no continuity in coordination related to the implementation of PPID Faculty so that the obstacles and obstacles that occur lack feedback due to lack of communication so that the implementation becomes hampered or neglected. Resources, limited budgets lead to facilities such as computers and special rooms for PPIDs and so on, which hamper the effectiveness of staff work. In addition, budget limitations also affect human resources at the Faculty PPID, causing information management to still depend on faculty administrative staff. Disposition, lack of availability of human resources, facilities, and infrastructure to support the implementation of activities. And the policy maker does not provide incentives or bonuses to employees or policy implementers. This is influenced by the absence of budget allocations due to budget constraints. The PPID bureaucratic structure of each faculty makes its own procedures that are integrated with the SOP of PPID Sriwijaya University.
