Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the work environment that supports employee health and wellness and human resource development on employee performance at PT Pusri Palembang. The population in this study consists of all permanent employees of PT Pusri Palembang, totaling 1,692 individuals, with a sample of 100 employees selected using proportional sampling. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis indicate that both variables have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. For the variable of a work environment that supports mental health and wellness, it is expected that the leadership role will provide recognition to employees who demonstrate good performance. Meanwhile, for the human resource development variable, it is expected that training and development be provided for employees whose job roles do not align with their educational background or skills. This study also contributes to the development of human resource management theory, particularly related to well-being and competency development as key factors in enhancing employee performance.
