Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of belief systems and diagnostic control systems on managerial performance, considering contingent fit as a moderating variable. The subjects of this research are managers working in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. By employing purposive sampling, the total number of respondents in this study was 33 individuals. This research utilized a quantitative approach with primary data, analyzed using the IBM SPSS 26 application. The analysis results indicate that belief systems have an impact on managerial performance. However, this study also found that diagnostic control systems do not significantly affect managerial performance. Furthermore, contingent fit did not successfully moderate the relationship between belief systems and managerial performance, nor between diagnostic control systems and manageri
