Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Burnout and Leadership Style on the Performance of Nurses at AK.Gani Hospital in Palembang. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that Burnout has a significant negative effect on nurse performance, while Leadership Style has a significant positive effect on nurse performance. These findings suggest that to reduce burnout and improve nurse performance, it is important for the hospital to provide adequate social support. This support can take the form of counseling facilities or group discussion sessions where nurses can share their experiences and feelings. With good social support, nurses will feel more valued and less isolated, which can reduce stress and burnout. Meanwhile, successful transactional leadership requires effective and transparent communication between leaders and nurses.
