Abstract

Accidents at work sites, especially in a construction project, have been very common in Indonesia. The larger the scale of the project, the greater and more risks are present in a construction project. The construction of the Palembang City Archive Warehouse is one of the Palembang City PUPR government programs. This project is one of the two-storey construction projects that uses complex steel and is currently being built in the Palembang City area This research aims to identify risks based on their sources, determine indices and levels, and provide K3 control in the PUPR Archive Warehouse construction project. The data collection method in this study uses a questionnaire with a population of 24 people taken by 19 people to be used as a sample. The risk group of falling from above is one of the highest risk groups in this study, followed by the risk group of workers not using PPE, the risk of losing control of tools, injuries due to sharp objects, the risk of being hit by tools/materials from above and slipping. There are about 54 risks in this project with 7 medium level risks and 47 low level risks. The proposed control is in the form of the use of complete PPE, routinely checking equipment, holding safety talks, and maintaining environmental cleanliness.
