Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan proses sains kelompok siswa pada materi asam basa di SMAN 1 Indralaya Utara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penilaian dilakukan dengan melibatkan tiga orang observer yang menilai keterampilan proses sains kelompok siswa melalui lembar observasi. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pengamatan terhadap 7 aspek keterampilan proses sains kelompok siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar keterampilan proses sains kelompok siswa berada pada kategori sangat baik untuk seluruh aspek yaitu, aspek mengamati (92%), mengukur (92%), mengklasifikasi (92%), menarik kesimpulan (90%), memprediksi (88%), eksperimen (94%) dan mengkomunikasikan (92%). Secara keseluruhan, keterampilan proses sains kelompok siswa tergolong sangat baik dengan rata-rata capaian sebesar 91%.
