Abstract
This study discusses the analysis of using the Solar Guardian application on a solar charge controller in a rooftop Solar Power Plant (PLTS) system with a capacity of 2000 Wp that uses polycrystalline solar panels. The aim of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of monitoring and controlling the PLTS system using the Solar Guardian application, as well as to analyze the performance of the solar panels and charge controller under real operational conditions. The methods used include collecting real-time data on voltage, current, and output power through the application, which is then compared with manual measurements for validation. The results of the study indicate that the Solar Guardian application is capable of providing accurate and responsive monitoring data and assists in the early detection of system disturbances. The polycrystalline solar panels demonstrated reasonably good performance despite being affected by variations in light intensity and ambient temperature. The integration of this application with the PLTS system enhances the efficiency of solar energy system maintenance and monitoring overall.
