Abstract

The implementation of teacher-on-duty tasks at SMK Bina Cipta Palembang is still carried out manually, especially in recording student permissions to leave or go home during school hours. This manual process is prone to data loss, recording errors, and makes it difficult to search and generate reports. To address this issue, a web-based teacher-on-duty application was developed using the prototype system development method. This application is designed to assist teacher-on-duty staff in recording, managing, and monitoring student permission data in real time. The application was built using PHP native and MySQL database, and runs on a local server using XAMPP. Its main features include student data input, permission and departure data management, entry time recording, and report display in the form of printable tables and charts. Testing using the black-box method showed that the application functions properly and meets user requirements. With this application, the recording process becomes faster, more accurate, and well-organized, thereby improving the efficiency of administrative processes within the school environment.
