Abstract

Latar Belakang: Forward head posture (FHP) merupakan kelainan postural yang makin sering dijumpai pada remaja akibat penggunaan gawai yang berkepanjangan dan kebiasaan postur yang buruk. Posisi kepala yang terlalu maju dari garis tengah tubuh dapat menyebabkan gangguan otot dan tulang leher serta memengaruhi kualitas hidup di masa depan. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif observasional dengan pendekatan survei. Sampel terdiri dari 79 siswa kelas X SMA Methodist 2 Palembang yang dipilih melalui teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, pengisian kuisioner, serta pengukuran Craniovertebral Angle (CVA). Hasil: Prevalensi FHP pada responden sebesar 19%, dengan mayoritas tergolong dalam kategori FHP sedang. Seluruh siswa menunjukkan postur tidak ergonomis saat menggunakan gawai, dengan 78,5% berada di kategori menunduk berat. Mayoritas responden juga memiliki kebiasaan penggunaan gawai lebih dari empat jam per hari serta tingkat aktivitas fisik yang rendah. Kesimpulan: FHP merupakan gangguan postural yang signifikan di kalangan remaja dan berhubungan dengan kebiasaan menggunakan gawai serta aktivitas fisik yang rendah. Intervensi dini berupa edukasi postur dan promosi aktivitas fisik diperlukan untuk mencegah masalah muskuloskeletal jangka panjang.
