Abstract

This research aims to analyze the direct influence of work life balance, workload, and occupational safety and health on driver performance at PT Tiga Putri Bersaudara Is 36 to Port, and to test the indirect influence through motivation. The approach used in this study is quantitative with a causality design. The sample size was 140 drivers at PT Tiga Putri Bersaudara Is 36 to Port, with a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires that were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. The results showed that work life balance had a positive and significant effect on driver performance and motivation, while workload had a negative and significant effect on driver performance and motivation. Occupational safety and health also had a positive and significant effect on driver performance and motivation. In addition to the direct influence, motivation was proven to act as a partial mediation of the influence of work life balance, workload, and occupational safety and health on driver performance.
