Abstract

Judul penelitian adalah Kelas Sosial Dan Gaya Hidup Pemilik Mobil Listrik (Studi Kota Palembang). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gaya hidup serta kelas sosial pemilik mobil listrik kedua adalah preferensi pemilik mobil listrik dan mengetahui kelas sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Pierre Bourdieu. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penentuan dalam informan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan snowball atau bola salju. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 8 orang. Jenis dan sumber data penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah menunjukkan bahwa gaya hidup dalam pemilik mobil listrik yang mengikuti trend, menambah relasi sosial, dalam hal bisnis atau pertemanan, kemudian menunjukkan identitas sosial, Kelas sosial dan gaya hidup pemilik mobil listrik berada pada kelas atas (upper class). Preferensi dari individu terkait pergantian ke mobil listrik adalah karena lebih hemat, dan efisien, dan ramah lingkungan Kata Kunci: Mobil Listrik, Kelas Sosial, Gaya Hidup
