Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of love of money, personal finance management, ethical knowledge, and sharia compliance on the ethical perceptions of accounting students at Sriwijaya University toward Islamic financial reporting. The study employs a quantitative approach, using primary data obtained through the distribution of online questionnaires. The sample consisted of 246 accounting students from Sriwijaya University. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results indicate that love of money has a significant influence on students ethical perceptions. Ethical knowledge also shows a significant influence on ethical perceptions. Sharia compliance has a significant effect and is identified as the most dominant variable. Meanwhile, personal finance management does not have a significant influence on students ethical perceptions.
