Abstract

This study aims to compare the financial performance of PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food Tbk and PT Mayora Indah Tbk by using the du pont system in 2016-2017. The company's financial performance can be seen from the return on investment and its constituent components consisting of total asset turnover and net profit margin. The data used in this study are secondary data, namely the balance sheet and income statement for the period of 2016-2017. The processed data is secondary data and the data analysis technique uses du pont system analysis. The results showed that PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food Tbk continued to decline, the return on investment of PT Mayora Indah Tbk was above the industry average while the return on investment of PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food Tbk was below the industry average. PT Mayora Indah Tbk has a better performance than PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food. Keywords: Return on Investment, Du Pont System, Financial Performance
