Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui partisipasi aktif dan perkembangan motorik siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan kesehatan di SD Negeri 1 Tebing Bulang. Penelitian ini menerapkan Sport Education Model sebagai panduan kegiatan selama penelitian. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Tebing Bulang yang berjumlah 30 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar pengamatan partisipasi aktif yang memuat 8 aspek penting untuk mengukur partisipasi aktif siswa dan format tes TGMD-2 dimana siswa akan melakukan rangkaian tes yang tertera pada format ts TGMD-2 tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data partisipasi aktif siswa meningkat signifikan dari pertemuan ke pertemuan. Pada pertemuan terahir pada setiap aspek sudah diatas 60 % semua sedangkan untuk hasil tes TGMD-2 sebanyak 14 siswa atau 47 % mendapatkan interpretasi unggul, 12 siswa atau 40 % mendapatkan interpretasi diatas rata-rata dan sebanyak 4 siswa atau 13 % mendapatkan interpretasi rata-rata. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan diterapkannya Sport Education Model partisipasi aktif dan keterampilan motorik siswa meningkat singnifikan sejalan dengan harapan peneliti.
