Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital turnover, cash turnover, receivable turnover and inventory turnover on the profitability of the company of Basic Industry and Chemistry sectors listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. This type of study was quantitative with the sampling technique used is purposive sampling as many as 20 companies. The data analysis techniques used is panel data regression with fixed effect method. This study was used classic assumptions test and hypothesis test. The test result partially showed that working capital turnover had no significant effect on profitability, cash turnover had significant negative effect on profitability, receivable turnover and inventory turnover had significant positive effect on profitability.
