Abstract
SUMMARY MEASUREMENT OF RESEARCH EXPERTISE USING ALGORITHM COLLABORATION COSINE SIMILARITY AND ASSOCIATION RULES Scientific Papers in the Form of Dissertation, July 2025 ALI FIRDAUS, NIM: 03013622025003, Approved and guided by Mr. Prof. Deris Stiawan, M.T., Ph.D. and Mr. Samsuryadi, M. Kom., Ph.D. Doctoral Study Program in Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Sriwijaya University. xi + 86. Page 16 Table, 20 Picture 4 Attachment Expertise is an asset that is not well informed. As a result, many people claim to be experts or are considered experts by others without evidence and correct data. To ensure the expertise of researchers, it must be proven with valid data support through measurable and presentable expertise parameters. The model currently being built uses publication variables attached to researchers formulated in a collaboration of cosine similarity and association rules algorithms to assess the level of researcher expertise. Validating important points of publications as parameters for measuring expertise has been identified as the main factor contributing to the measurement of researcher expertise and its impact on the reputation of universities. By using parameters sourced from information on research publication results, expertise measurement can be carried out according to the researcher's field of expertise. Expert knowledge can be represented in the form of dynamic "research" by implementing a research scheme using important features in detail and concept variability. The representation of this research involves the knowledge, expertise and experience possessed by the researcher. This research aims to measure the strength of a researcher's scientific publication track using Algorithm collaboration, in terms of consistency of research fields, quantity of research, and quality of published research as important points to state their expertise. Through research, it is expected to find important points that can be used as benchmark parameters to ensure that someone who is called an expert is someone who has been scientifically proven to meet the requirements with valid data support through measurable and presentable expertise parameters. Keywords Collaboration, Algorithm, Research, Science, Parameters, Measurement, Expert.
