Abstract
Pipe is a component used in a lot of equipment in the industry, such as in a heat exchanger. There are several kinds of pipes arrangement in a heat exchanger, such as inline and slaggered. Pipes in the heat exchanger consists of a variety forms, but the cylindrical is most commonly used. In flow over immersed bodies will generate pressure and drag. The size of pressure and drag on the surface of pipe, based on the shape of objects and distance between pipes. Based on this, conducted research on influence of two pipes distance to the pressure around the pipe, to determine the magnitude of pressure coefficient and pressure coefficient of drag using Wind tunnel. The distance between pipes is very influential on the value of pressure coefficient and pressure coefficient of drag. The closer of distance between two pipes, the value of pressure coefficient will b e smaller and pressure coefficient of drag will be even greater.
