Abstract

The aim of writing this report is to analyze the credit application and assessment mechanism at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina which is engaged in energy distribution, especially fuel. The credit application and assessment process at this company is very important to ensure that loans given to customers or business partners can be accounted for and have controlled risks. This report explores the credit application procedure which includes the preparation, verification, and final decision stages, as well as identifying the assessment criteria used by companies to assess credit worthiness. The research was carried out by collecting data through literature studies, interviews with related parties in the company, and analysis of credit-related documents. The research results show that PT Pertamina Patra Niaga's analysis has strict procedures and a risk-based assessment system related to financial aspects, company reputation and return capacity. In addition, the report also identifies several areas that can be improved in the credit assessment process to increase efficiency and reduce risk. Based on these findings, it is recommended to make improvements in the use of technology to simplify the verification and risk evaluation process. It is hoped that this report can contribute to improving the credit management system at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga and become a reference for implementing risk management practices in the energy sector.
