Abstract
The Creating Shared Value (CSV) program initiated by PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang represents a strategic development model aimed at simultaneously generating economic, social, and environmental value. Implemented in Tebat Benawa Village since late 2022, this program exemplifies how collaborative efforts between corporations, government agencies, and local communities can produce positive, sustainable impacts. The research method used primary and secondary data for both qualitative and quantitative data. Primary data were obtained from on-site observations, interviews, and discussions with social forestry actors or business groups relevant to the research objectives. Secondary data were obtained from data collected from relevant parties to address the research objectives, previous research results, institutions, articles, journals, books, literature, and the internet to support data processing in accordance with the research objectives. In conclusion, the CSV program in Tebat Benawa exemplifies a high-impact development model that harmonizes corporate interests with community welfare and environmental conservation. Its success lies not only in the tangible outcomes such as increased income, improved livelihoods, and better environmental conditions but also in the participatory and empowering processes that engaged community members at every stage. Amidst the challenges of rural economic development and environmental degradation, the CSV approach has proven its relevance as a transformative strategy capable of catalyzing inclusive and long lasting development. The Tebat Benawa case presents a replicable framework for similar interventions, particularly in customary forest areas or vulnerable communities where inclusive growth and stakeholder collaboration are critical. As such, it serves as a compelling case study for public-private partnerships aiming to achieve sustainable development goals through systemic, community-rooted approaches.
