Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas mengenai perkembangan Pondok Pesantren yang ada di wilayah Kecamatan Buay Pematang Ribu Ranau Tengah Kabupaten OKU Selatan yaitu Pondok Pesantren Roudlotul Qur’an sejak tahun 1997-2017. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses perkembangan yang dialami Pondok Pesantren serta hubungan sosial keagamaan dengan masyarakat di kelurahan Simpang Sender. Perkembanagan tersebut dapat dilihat dari berbagai aspek, mulai dari aspek peningkatan sarana dan prasarana, pertumbuhan jumlah Santri hingga perkembangan proses pembelajaran Pesantren. Proses penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Tahap pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode studi pustaka dan wawancara yang dilakukan kepada ketua Pondok serta jajaran dilingkungan Pondok Pesantren. Pendekatan atau sudut pandang penelitian ini merujuk pada pendekatan Sosiologi dan Antropologi. Setelah seluruh rangkaian penelitian dilakukan, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pondok Pesantren Roudlotul Qur’an mengalami perkembangan yang cukup signifikan yang di dukung oleh beberapa faktor yaitu peningkatan jumlah Santri, peningkatan fasilitas sarana dan prasarana hingga sistem pembelajaran yang semula masih tradisional menjadi Pondok Pesantren terpadu. ABSTRACT This study discusses the development of Islamic boarding schools in the Buay Pematang Ribu Ranau Tengah Sub-district, South Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency, namely Roudlotul Qur’an Islamic boarding school since 1997-2017. The objective of this study was to find out the development process of Islamic boarding schools and religious social relations with the society in Simpang Sinder Village. The development can be seen from many aspects including from the aspects of improving the facilities and infrastructure, the growth in the number of students (Santri), and the development of the Islamic boarding school learning process. This study used historical research methods through several stages, i.e., heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The data collection using literature study and interview with the Head of Islamic boarding school and the staff. The research perspective or approach using sociological and anthropological approach. The results showed that Roudlotul Qur’an Islamic boarding school experienced a significant development which supported by some factors namely the increase in the number of the students (Santri), improvement of facilities and infrastructure, and the learning system that was originally still traditional became an integrated Islamic boarding school.
