Abstract

This study entitled "The Influence of Pictorial Riddle Teaching Method to the Students' Motivation and Learning Outcomes in Social Science Subject of the Seventh Graders of SMP Negeri l O Palembang". The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of Pictorial Riddle as teaching method to the students' motivation and learning outcomes. This study had been conducted on April 15th until May 7th, 2016. The samples of this study were VII. I class as an experimental class and VII.3 class as the control class. Random sampling technique was used to select experimental and control class as samples of this study. The data of this study were collected by using test and questionnaire. The statistics which was used to analyze the data in proving the hypothesis was One Way Anova test with the significance level a = 0.05. Based on the data analysis done on the hypothesis l Fcount = 4.12 and Ftable = 2.89 or Fcount >Ftable, and on hypotheses 2 Fcount = 12,8 and Ftable = 2,87 or Fcount>Ftable. it can be concluded that the hypothesis l and hypothesis 2 were accepted that "There was an influence of Pictorial Riddle teaching method to the students' learning outcomes and motivation in social science subject of the seventh graders of SMP Negeri 10 Palembang".
