Abstract
This study aims to analyze the optimal internet pricing scheme model using an improved Cloud Radio Access Network (C-RAN) model that is enhanced by involving the Fair Network Traffic Management variable. C-RAN is a centralized radio access network that is connected to a cellular antenna to process signals and send them to the core network. This study was solved optimally as a Mixed Integer Nonlinear Programming (MINLP) problem. An optimal pricing scheme is applied to a local data server, including traffic hotspots. The C-RAN model was modified into 2 cases and compared with the solution from the original model. The maximum benefit is obtained in case 2 in the improved model. The C-RAN model is formed by specifying the initial consumption () and the maximum amount of bandwidth consumption (). The model used was completed with the help of the Lingo 13.0 program. Based on the analysis that has been done, the results of this study indicate that the C-RAN improved model can be utilized by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to produce the maximum solution.
