Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kelentukan pergelangan tangan dan koordinasi mata tangan dengan hasil pukulan backhand tenis meja pada siswa SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasi.Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu, tes fleksibilitas kelentukan pergelangan tangan dan lempar tangkap bola di dinding. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketiganya memiliki nilai yang signifikan yang kurang dari 0,05 (nilai signifikan <0,05). Korelasi Ganda (R) antara variabel-variabel bebas dengan variabel terikat mempunyai korelasi yang erat termasuk dalam kategori tingkat hubungan yang sangat kuat yaitu 0,98 atau 98%. Implikasi jika siswa memiliki kelentukan pergelangan tangan dan koordinasi mata tangan yang baik maka akan memberikan kontribusi yang baik pula terhadap pukulan backhand tenis meja. Kata Kunci : Kelentukan Pergelangan Tangan, Koordinasi Mata tangan.
