Abstract

This study aims to determine the interpersonal communication skills of 2018 Guidance and Counseling Study Program students of the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training at Sriwijaya University. This study is a survey research with quantitative descriptive method. The data were collected using a psychological Likert scale model. All population members were chosen as subjects of research. Data were analyzed using the percentage formula (%). The results of data analysis showed that the interpersonal communication skills of the 2018 guidance and counseling students (21%) were in the very good category, (3%) were in the good category, (51%) were in the quite good category, (15%) were in the not good category, and (10%) were in the very unkind category. As a result, it can be seen that most of the Guidance and Counseling students of the 2018 of the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training at Sriwijaya University have interpersonal communication skills in quite good categories.
