Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the factors affecting the performance achievement of the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives Small and Medium Enterprises Ogan Ilir Regency. The Performance Problems of the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Ogan Ilir Regency is still low in achieving the target of increasing the activities of small and medium businesses in 2017. The theory used is the theory of the influencing factors of Armstrong and Baron which is include personal factors, leadership factors, team factors, system factors and contextual/situational factors. The research method used is a quantitative method. Data collection techniques consisted of questionnaires and documentations. The results showed that the factors affecting the achievement of the Department’s performance of Industry Trade Cooperatives Small and Medium Enterprises Ogan Ilir Regency experienced differences of percentages and order of factors. The highest factor influencing the achievement of Department performance was leadership factor 61.3 percent, contextual/situational factor 53.2 percent, system factor 47.5 percent, personal factor 36.7 percent, and team factors was 26.5 percent to increase the performance of the Department which is to achieve the targets set, the factors that influences should increased as much as the performance to be achieved. Then, maximize attention to the factors that the percentage value that’s still low, namely team factors, personal factors and system factors.
