Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of productivity creative learning model to the ability to write a description text of class VII SMP Negeri 37 Palembang. The research method used is a pseudo-experimental method. The sample of the study consisted of two classes, i.e. class VII. 7 numbering 27 students as experimental classes and class VII. 8 numbered 27 students as the control class. An Ecperimentary class is a class that is given treatment using the productive creative learning model while the control class is a class that is given treatment with conventional learning models. Data collection techniques using written test techniques and data processing techniques using test-t calculations with computer program SPSS 24. The results showed that there were differences in test results between experimental classes and control classes. The average rating of the initial test class is 57.41 and the control class is 52.48. While the final test results of the 67.44 experiment class and control class 57.81. From the test-t calculation results prove that Thitung > this = 5,154 > 2.007, with DF = 52 at a significance level of 95%. Thus, Ha reads "There is a difference in the ability to write description text between students taught using a productive creative learning model with students taught using conventional learning models" accepted. Thus, the acceptance of Ha then can be concluded that the productive creative learning model has the influence on the ability to write the description text students of Class VII SMP Negeri 37 Palembang.
