Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis android untuk Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap aktivitas dan minat belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (development research) dengan menggunakan tahapan menurut Tessmer yang terdiri dari 2 tahapan yaitu: (1) Tahap preliminary (analisis dan desain). (2) Tahap formative evaluation, pada tahap ini peneliti melakukan penilaian sendiri terhadap hasil desain, melakukan validasi materi dan media oleh dosen maupun guru, menguji cobakan bahan ajar kepada siswa secara individu (one to one) maupun kelompok (small group), dan uji coba pada proses pembelajaran di kelas (field test). Bahan ajar berbasis android yang dikembangkan telah dikatakan valid berdasarkan komentar dan saran dari hasil validasi dan uji coba one to one, sedangkan praktis berdasarkan hasil dari uji coba small group. Bahan ajar berbasis android ini memiliki efek potensial terhadap aktivitas dan minat belajar siswa yang dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil observasi aktivitas siswa dikategorikan aktif dengan rata-rata 76,29%, dan hasil analisis angket berdasarkan indikator minat belajar mendapatkan persentase 84,97% dengan kategoti sangat tinggi.
