Abstract

This research was aimed at identifying the effectiveness of human resource functions – planning, training and development, planning and career development, performance assessment, compensation and remuneration, and employee satisfaction – at PT. Musi Hutan Persada, and providing recommendations to correct the company’s weakness. This is qualitative and descriptive research. The data were collected from preliminary, observation and library research. Based on the result of this research is that of 6 human resource functions that have been research, three of which are planning, performance assessment, and compensation and remuneration has beeb effective, while the human resource functions that has not been effective is the function training and development, planning and career development and employee satisfaction. Based on the weakness were found on the function, the author give some recommendations and improvements alternatives to used by PT. Musi Hutan Persada as feedback in future human resource development.
