Abstract

This study aims to prove the impact of remedial learning programs on student learning outcomes in economic subjects at SMA I Az-Zahrah Palembang. The population of this research is all students of class IX IIS 1 odd semester on 2019/2020 academic year. By using purposive sampling technique, samples taken based on students who have special characteristics that failing to achieve the Criteria of minimum completeness (KKM) equivalent value, the research's sample is XI IIS 1 as an experimental class with a total of 29 students who failed to achieve the KKM equivalent value at the time of Pre-Test. This research is an experimental research with Quasi Experimental Design with Time Series Design approach. Research in class XI IPS 1 as an experimental class using the Remedial Learning Program. The results of hypothesis testing using calculations with the t-test formula (correlated) discovered that tcount> t table is 15.04> 1.683 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So in conclusion, there is the effect of the Remedial Learning Program on student learning outcomes in economic subjects at SMA I Az-Zahrah Palembang. With the research of the remedial learning program on student learning outcomes in economic subjects at SMA I Az-Zahrah Palembang, it is hoped that the remedial learning program can improve student learning outcomes. It is recommended that teachers who will implement remedial learning programs must be able to set condition the class and also apply appropriate learning models so that the implementation of remedial learning can run well.
