Abstract
Pabrik pembuatan asam monokloroasetat dengan kapasitas produksi 25.000 ton/tahun direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2024 di Jalan Waduk Jatiluhur, Purwakarta, Jawa Barat, dengan luas area sebesar 4,2 Ha. Pabrik berjalan secara kontinyu selama 24 jam/hari dalam 300 hari/tahun. Bahan baku pembuatan asam monokloroasetat adalah asam asetat dan klorin. Proses pembuatan asam monokloroasetat dalam pra rancangan ini mengacu pada US Patent No. 2019/0039986 A1 dengan proses klorinasi asam asetat. Proses klorinasi menggunakan katalis asetat anhidrida dalam reaktor bubble column yang beroperasi pada suhu 100°C dan tekanan 1,2 atm. Pabrik akan didirikan dengan bentuk perusahaan Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dan sistem organisasi Line and Staff yang dipimpin oleh Direktur dengan total karyawan 143 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik asam monokloroasetat ini layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi berbagai macam syarat dari parameter ekonomi sebagai berikut: a. Total Capital Investment = US $ 58,695,429.63 b. Selling price = US $ 120,873,296.67 c. Total Production Cost = US $ 80,097,885.55 d. Annual Cash Flow = US $ 33,203,649.73 e. Pay Out Time = 1,78 tahun f. Rate of Return on Investment = 48,63% g. Discounted Cash Flow = 56,21% h. Break Event Point (BEP) = 29,89% i. Service Life = 11 tahun
