Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applicating the Camtasia Studio media on learning outcomes and the activity of students on learning animal and plant sub-themes in my home environment SD Negeri 1 Palembang. This study use quasi-experiments with the type of design of the One Group PreTest PostTest Design. The sample in this study was class V had a total of 16 students including 8 women and 8 men. Data-collecting techniques that used are tests and observations. From the results of the calculation, the average pretest value is 51,17. While the average Posttest value is 75,93. Based on the hypothesis test, obtained tcount = 6,98 while ttable = 2,131 with a significant level of 0.05 (5%). Because tcount> ttable then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then it can be concluded that the application of the Camtasia Studio method give influences on the learning outcomes and activeness of students in learning animal and plant sub-themes in my home environment SD Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan.
