Abstract

The purpose of this research was to show the influence of motivation on the interesting of alumnus bachelor of accounting to take the education of accounting profession (PP Ak) in South Sumatera. The motivations here include : motivation of quality, motivation of career and motivation of economics. This research took 60 alumnus bachelor of accounting as the respondens in South Sumatera. In which 30 of them are currently taking the education of accounting profession (PP Ak), while the other 30 sample were the alumnus of the education of accounting profession (PPAk).The data of this research were collected by giving questioners to all of the respondens and analyzed by applying multiple regretion. The test of hypothesis that used here were simultant significant test (F-test) and partial significant test (T-test). The result of this research showed that the motivation of quality, motivation of career and the motivation of economic simultanty or altogether were giving the influence to the interest of the alumnus bachelor of accounting to take PP Ak. However, partially the motivation of economic did not give the influence to the interest of the alumnus bachelor of accounting to take PP Ak, while the motivation of quality and the motivation of career partially gave influence on the interesting of alumnus bachelor of accounting to take PP Ak.
