Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh event olahraga dan seni budaya terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di kota Palembang sepanjang tahun 2011-2019 dengan melihat objek penelitian upah rata-rata, jumlah wisatawan dan level event. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pengambilan data sekunder dengan metode pengumpulan data Archival Research (penelitian arsip) dari data dokumenter. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan even olahraga dan seni budaya di kota Palembang dengan melihat upah rata-rata, jumlah wisatawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja, sedangkan level event tidak berpengarug signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. Secara keseluruhan variabel independen mampu menjelakan sebesar 83,7% dari penyerapan tenaga kerja.
