Abstract
Construction of multi-storey buildings is one way to reduce the problem of land needs which is increasing every year. In general, the construction of multi-storey buildings uses reinforced concrete structures. In reinforced concrete structures, there is a meeting between the beam structure and the column structure. The meeting is a critical area that needs to be designed properly in order to reduce the impact of lateral loads due to earthquake loads. In this study, it was carried out by comparing the results of experimental testing of normal concrete material with the results of numerical analysis. Numerical analysis research will also be carried out on the structure using lightweight concrete material. The research was done by making structural modeling interior beam-column connection using programs based on the finite element method (Finite Element Method) that ANSYS. The data inputted by the beurpa displacement control will produce a lateral force, so that a graph of the relationship between force and displacement can be formed to obtain a hysteresis curve. The result of the comparison of the numerical analysis of the performance of the interior beam-column joint structure using the ANSYS program on the experimental test of normal concrete has a difference of 3.49% in the push direction of the load and 3.28% in the pull direction of the load. The results of the analysis of the performance of the interior beam-column joint structure using the ANSYS program on lightweight concrete obtained the maximum lateral force value of 21.74 kN in the push direction of the load and in the pull direction of the load of -23.27 kN.
