Abstract

Domestic harmony is influenced by sexual intercourse, during pregnancy the mother experiences discomfort which disrupts sexual activity, this condition is still taboo to discuss, therefore many mothers are reluctant to ask. The factors that influence sexual satisfaction during pregnancy are influenced by maternal education, parity, maternal age, and gestational age. This study aims to determine the relationship between gestational age and sexual satisfaction during pregnancy at Puskesmas 23 Ilir Palembang. The research was a quantitative study using a cross-sectional correlation. The population in this study was all pregnant women who were in the working area of Puskesmas 23 Ilir Palembang. The sample was taken using total sampling technique with 50 respondents. The data analysis used was chi-square test. This research was conducted from December 2020 to January 2021 and sexual satisfaction was measured using questionnaire via google form. The results showed that there was a significant result of the relationship between gestational age and sexual satisfaction during pregnancy at Puskesmas 23 Ilir Palembang with p value 0.000 (<0,05).It is expected that there will be an education for pregnant women and husbands to achieve sexual satisfaction during pregnancy.
