Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pergerakan kurs valuta asing terhadap harga saham industri perbankan di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode Juni 2011 - September 2011. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian, secara parsial kurs dolar Amerika berpengaruh negatif terhadap harga saham industri perbankan. Namun kurs euro dan poundsterling tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham industri perbankan. Berdasarkan uji-F, kurs dolar Amerika, euro, dan poundsterling secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap harga saham industri perbankan. Bagi investor yang ingin melakukan investasi di pasar modal, khususnya pada saham-saham perbankan hendaknya memperhatikan keadaan rupiah terhadap dolar Amerika untuk mencegah resiko-resiko yang ada.
