Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Kompetensi, Akuntabilitas, dan Etika Profesi Auditor terhadap Kualitas Audit. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini terletak pada kualitas audit yang dihasilkan oleh auditor yang bekerja di Kantor Akuntan Publik di kota Palembang dengan indikator hasil dari proses audit, kesesuaian dengan standar audit yang berlaku. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dan dilakukan dengan menganalisis serta menguji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Alat analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah program SPSS versi 26. Data penelitian yang digunakan adalah data primer dengan metode survei dalam bentuk penyebaran kuisioner. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan menghasilkan 45 orang auditor sebagai responden penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi, Akuntabilitas, dan Etika Profesi Auditor berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap Kualitas Audit secara parsial. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa auditor yang bekerja di Kantor Akuntan Publik di kota Palembang akan mampu menghasilkan kualitas audit yang baik ketika sudah mampu memenuhi indikator kompetensi audit, akuntabilitas yang baik, dan menerapkan etika profesi yang baik sebagai seorang auditor. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi, Akuntabilitas, Etika Profesi Auditor, dan Kualitas Audit.
