Abstract

Laptop is a tool that can make it easier for humans to complete work. The use of laptops must be adjusted to the needs they have, for example for design, games, IT and Office needs. Therefore, to choose a laptop according to your needs, of course, there are specifications that adjust it. The process of determining a laptop according to this need has criteria, namely processor, RAM, VGA, hard drive, screen, battery and price. However, the increasing number of types and brands of laptops that vary nowadays causes many people to be confused in determining the laptop according to their needs. if the functionality of the laptop does not meet the needs it has, it can cause errors on the laptop. From these problems, a decision support system is needed in choosing a laptop according to your needs using the method Simple Additive Weighting in the ranking process to determine the best laptop. From this calculation process, you will get a solution or the best laptop recommendation results according to your needs.
