Abstract

A fee for the Acquisition of Rights to Land and Buildings (BPHTB) is an act or legal event that results in the acquisition of rights to land and buildings by an individual or entity. This study aimed to find out the effectiveness and contribution of fee acceptance of the acquisition of rights to land and buildings on regional tax revenues in Palembang City, Banyuasin District, and Ogan Ilir District. This study used primary and secondary data in the form of interviews, budget realization reports, and realization of regional tax revenues in Regional Tax Management Agency of Palembang City, Banyuasin District, and Ogan Ilir District from 2015 to 2017. The study results showed that Fee Acceptance of the Acquisition of Rights to Land and Buildings (BPHTB) ran effectively in Palembang City and Banyuasin District while it did not in Ogan Ilir District; and Fee Acceptance of the Acquisition of Rights to Land and Buildings (BPHTB) had less contributed to regional tax revenues in Palembang City and Ogan Ilir District while it contributed well to regional tax revenues in Banyuasin District.
