Abstract

This thesis is titled Effect of jajan Palembang instagram Exposure on Fulfillment of Student Culinary Information Needs (Study of Communication Department Students in Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University, Palembang campus). This study aims to determine the effect of the jajan Palembang exposure on the fulfillment of culinary information needs of students of the Communication Sciences Department of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University Palembang campus using media exposure theory and gratification obtained. The method in this study uses quantitative methods. The population of this study was 80 respondents of the Department of Communication Students Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University, Palembang campus. Data collection in this research uses questionnaire distribution techniques and documentation studies This shows that there is an influence of jajan Palembang instagram on the fulfillment of culinary information needs of students majoring in Communication Sciences, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University, Palembang campus.
