Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the distribution of productive zakat on reducing the poverty level of mustahik before and after being given zakat funds. The type of data used in this study is primary data obtained through offline interviews. This research takes a case study at Badan Amil Zakat Nasional of Palembang city. Respondents in this research are 40 mustahik households. Method of analysis in this research is CIBEST Model and The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The result of the study showed that productive zakat is able to reduce the level of material poverty, spiritual poverty, and absolute poverty and can improve the welfare of mustahik household.
