Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine how much the contribution was given by the housewife off-farm workers to the household income in the village of Ulak Kerbau Lama, Ogan Ilir Regency. The variables of the research were the of mcomes housewife off-farm workers and the household incomes. The technique of analysis was qualitative descriptive. The data used in this research were the primary data in 2014 collected through interview and questionnaire. The population of the study was all the housewife off-farm workers in Ulak Kerbau Lama Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, with a total number of 60 people. The results of the study showed that the income contribution of housewife off-farm workers to the household incomes in Ulak Kerbau Lama Village, District of Tanjung Raja, Ogan Ilir Regency ranged ffom 11.76% to 86.95%, with an average of 52.20% from the household income average of Rp 792,233 and the off-farm income average of Rp 477,500.
