Abstract

Art gallery is a place that serves as a container art community to develop the soul of art and art as well as social interaction. In this city of Medan, out of as many art venues are available there is no place or container that is competent or facilitates properly for artists and the public to show and introduce their artworks and provide knowledge of art more broadly and generally to the public. Through the concept of modem planning, this building has a variety of functions apart from the gallery there is also a function for training workshops and facilities for the arts community so as to accommodate the needs of existing arts activities in Medan, but with the embodiment of modern buildings with the application of appropriate design approach to be able become an attraction like recreational facilities and visitor interaction space especially art lovers in the city of Medan and surrounding areas.
