Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of work stress and job satisfaction on the organizational commitment of council secretariat banyuasin district. The population in this research are all employees with the status of ASN (state civil servants) and honorary employees in 2020 as much as 220 employees. The sample used in this study are as many as 141 employees as respondents obtained through random sampling technique. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and data processing techniques used through multiple linear regression analysis. Result of multiple linear regression analysis show that work stress negative and significant effect on organizational commitment at the council secretariat Banyuasin district. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment at the council secretariat Banyuasin district Job satisfaction needs to be improved especially in the provision of adjusted salaries especially for non ASN employees.
